Why do I need an Attorney...

I have had the experience of working with attorneys in the past for various things and I would like to answer some questions you may have... and possible dispell some untrue facts in the process. Remember, this is only observation and my personal opinion. I cannot be blamed for a lawyers lack of judgement.

We can start with the biggest one... Auto Accident/Personal Injury:

• Do I need a lawyer if i get into a car accident?

No, you don't. But you should get one. The other persons Insurance company has High Paid attorneys at work to not pay you... and they do not fight fair. You definately should consult one. In most cases they work on a contingency basis and you dont have to pay anything until the case is settled or judgment is won... then they just deduct it from the settlement or judgment amount. You may actually enjoy the weekly chiropractic adjustments and massages that the lawyer will help you recieve.

• Do I have to go to court?

No. In most cases you can just talk to the attorney about settling the lawsuit instead of taking it to court. If the attorney advises that you goto court then that means that they are very confident and you can make more money on the back end from the suit.
